McCarter Coasters are extremely absorbent. Condensation from your glass will seep into the porous clay coaster and take-in any liquid. No more drips or stains! Continues to soak-up all day. We don’t know where the water goes! Normal use will render a long lasting coaster that will need very little care. To remove stains, spot clean with a mild bleach product. Rinse with water and allow to dry. This will restore the coaster to its original condition.
They don’t stick to your glass! These are the first coasters I’ve used that in truth work with glasses that sweat. My glass doesn’t stick to the coaster and if water sweats off the glass it is absorbed into the coaster. They work wonderfully! There are such a lot of patterns to choose between – you’ll find something for everyone. The fine textured detail is embossed giving them dimension whilst the natural off-white color goes with any decor.
Absolutely beautiful coasters!!!! They are stunning. They are so pretty I almost didn’t wish to use them, but I had to take a look at out the absorbency – we had a real hot, humid day the day gone by and so all cold drinks ended up dripping like crazy, but this coaster just sucked it right up like advertised.
